Terms and Conditions
Last updated 5 October 2026
1. Who we are
Bowlio is a trading name of AIO Digital Ltd. AIO Digital Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17498689, with its registered office at Y Gorlan, 87 Roger Street, Swansea, SA5 9AR. Its registration number with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) is TBC.
In these terms, "Bowlio", "we" and "us" mean AIO Digital Ltd, trading as Bowlio. Your agreement is with AIO Digital Ltd. Bowlio is not a separate company.
2. Agreement to these terms
These terms apply when you register a club, start a free trial, or sign in and use Bowlio - Bowls Management System. By creating an account you agree to them. If you're registering on behalf of a club, you confirm you're authorised to do so and that these terms bind that club.
3. The service
Bowlio is club-management software for fixtures, leagues, rink bookings, membership records and club payments. We aim to keep it available and reliable, but don't guarantee uninterrupted access — see Section 8.
4. Accounts and free trials
- A free trial gives full access for a limited period with no payment details required. Trial access ends automatically at the end of that period; a super administrator may extend or end a trial at their discretion.
- You're responsible for keeping your sign-in details (password or passkey) secure, and for anyone you allow to use your account.
- You must provide accurate information when registering, and keep it up to date.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to: use the service for anything unlawful; attempt to gain unauthorised access to another club's data or account; upload content you don't have the right to use; or interfere with the service's operation (including attempting to bypass rate limits or security controls).
6. Club data and responsibilities
Where you add member details to Bowlio, your club is the data controller for that data and is responsible for having a lawful basis to hold and process it, and for meeting its own obligations to its members (including under UK GDPR). AIO Digital Ltd acts as your data processor, storing and processing that data on your instructions — see our Privacy Notice for how we handle data more generally.
7. Payments
Where a club uses Bowlio's payment features to record or collect member fees, those payments are between the club and its members (or the club and its chosen payment provider); Bowlio is not a party to that payment relationship beyond providing the record-keeping feature itself.
8. Availability and changes
We may update, change or temporarily suspend the service (for example for maintenance or security reasons), and may add or remove features over time. We'll try to give reasonable notice of any change likely to materially affect how you use the service.
9. Intellectual property and licensing
The Bowlio software, name and brand are owned by Nicky Thomas, who created Bowlio, and are licensed exclusively to AIO Digital Ltd for a minimum term of 5 years. AIO Digital Ltd provides the service to your club under that licence. Our Licensing page sets out the public details of the licence, including how clubs are protected if it ever ends.
You keep ownership of the club and member data you or your club enters into Bowlio. The licence gives no one any right to your club's data.
10. Liability
We provide the service with reasonable care and skill, but to the extent permitted by law we're not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't legally be limited, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
11. Ending your account
You can stop using the service and ask us to close your club's account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, or a trial account once its trial period has ended without conversion to a paid plan.
12. Changes to these terms
We'll update the date at the top of this page if we make material changes, and will let club administrators know of any significant change by email.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any dispute will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales.

No payment details for a free trial, no lock-in, and your club keeps ownership of its own data.
